Dichroic red/blue stained glass brain

Small suncatcher using rare dichroic ripple glass to depict the four lobes of the brain as well as brainstem and cerebellum. Dichroic glass was developed by NASA and displays different colors depending on whether light is reflected or refracted. Measures about 4.5" wide x 3.5" high. This one is light red when reflected and light blue when refracted. Silver patina only.
